General Terms and Conditions

1. Provider and Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the use of the online platform "MyWeddingBoard", operated by:

MyWeddingBoard offers digital tools for creating wedding invitations, budgets, and seating plans.

These terms and conditions apply to all users of the platform.

2. Services of MyWeddingBoard

MyWeddingBoard provides users with a web application to create digital wedding invitations, plan budgets, and create seating plans.

MyWeddingBoard does not guarantee any specific outcome (e.g., error-free planning or correct delivery of invitations) nor assumes any warranty regarding the suitability of the content created.

3. Free Use and Registration

Part of the platform can be used free of charge and without registration.

For certain features (e.g., creating personalized invitation links, saving projects, export or sending features), registration is required.

4. Free trial period and legitimate use

MyWeddingBoard offers a free trial period of 14 calendar days from the date of invitation creation. During this period, the account is limited to 15 registered guests. The purpose of this trial is to allow the user to evaluate the service before purchasing a paid plan, within the context of a real and personal event.

The guest links generated by the platform are designed for individual and personal delivery to each guest. They are not intended for mass distribution or any use unrelated to the private management of a wedding or event.

Legitimate use. Legitimate use means accessing and enjoying the service for its intended purpose: organising and managing invitations for a personal event, sending links individually to the actual recipients.

Misuse. The following behaviours, among others, shall be considered misuse of the trial period:

Sharing guest links on social media, forums, public groups or any means of mass distribution.
Using the platform as a content distribution tool unrelated to an actual personal event.
Creating multiple accounts to accumulate additional trial periods or circumvent the limitations of the free service.
Any other use that, by its nature or scale, is incompatible with the purpose of the service.

Automated monitoring. In order to detect anomalous access patterns that may indicate illegitimate use, MyWeddingBoard carries out automated monitoring of access metrics for guest links, such as the number of unique IPs accessing the same link within a given period. This analysis is strictly technical and does not involve the processing of personal data beyond that described in our Privacy Policy.

Consequences of misuse. If the system detects substantiated indications of misuse during the trial period, MyWeddingBoard reserves the right to:

Terminate the trial period early and without prior notice.
Temporarily suspend guest access to the invitation, which will display a suspended access page until the situation is resolved.

Days consumed during the period of misuse will not be restored under any circumstances, regardless of the outcome of the review.

Service recovery. A user whose trial period has been terminated early due to misuse may regain full access to the service, including invitation visibility for their guests, by purchasing any of the available Premium plans. The purchase implies acceptance of these Terms and a commitment to legitimate use of the service.

5. Paid Services (One-Time Payment)

A one-time fee ("one-time payment") may be charged for advanced features. Current prices will be displayed before completing the purchase process.

Upon successful payment, the user gains access to the paid features.

6. Conclusion of Contract and Payment

The contract for paid services is concluded upon completion of the order process and after successful payment.

Payment is made through the offered payment providers (e.g., Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.).

7. Digital Invitations and Distribution

Users can create digital wedding invitations and share them via personalized links.

MyWeddingBoard does not send invitations on behalf of users. The distribution of invitation links is carried out exclusively by the user (e.g., via WhatsApp, email, or other services).

The privacy policies of the respective external providers apply.

8. Liability for Content

Users are responsible for ensuring that the content they create (e.g., texts, images, seating plans) is lawful and does not infringe the rights of third parties.

MyWeddingBoard is not responsible for content created or distributed by users.

9. Availability

MyWeddingBoard strives to make the platform available without interruption. However, permanent availability is not guaranteed.

Maintenance tasks, technical failures, or force majeure may cause restrictions.

10. Right of Withdrawal and Return Policy

Period. Consumers have a period of 14 calendar days from the date of payment to request a refund of the amount paid, without need for justification.

Accepted returns. MyWeddingBoard accepts returns of both defective products (technical failures that prevent normal use of the service) and non-defective products (change of mind by the user), within the 14-day period.

Exchanges. The user may request changes to their contracted plan or product within the same 14-day period.

Return cost. Returns and any exchange are completely free for the user. As this is a digital product, there are no shipping or handling costs.

Procedure. To exercise the right of withdrawal or request a change, the user must send an email to info@myweddingboard.com indicating the order number or the email address associated with the account.

Refund period. Once the return is approved, MyWeddingBoard will proceed with the refund of the amount paid within a maximum period of 14 calendar days, using the same payment method used in the original transaction.

Digital content. In accordance with Article 103.m of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the right of withdrawal may lapse in the case of digital services already executed. Nevertheless, MyWeddingBoard undertakes to resolve each request in good faith, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

11. Liability

MyWeddingBoard shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the platform, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

In cases of slight negligence, MyWeddingBoard shall only be liable if essential contractual obligations are breached, and such liability is limited to foreseeable damages.

Liability for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.

12. Intellectual Property

All rights to the platform, software, designs, and content belong to MyWeddingBoard or the respective rights holders.

Users receive a simple, non-transferable right of use for the digital invitations they create, solely for private purposes.

13. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy of MyWeddingBoard.

14. Duration and Termination

Free use can be terminated at any time.

Paid services are provided as a one-time payment and end with the provision of the corresponding feature. There is no subscription.

15. Amendment of Terms and Conditions

MyWeddingBoard reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Users will be informed of significant changes.

16. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
